How To Spa

Appointments

We always recommend booking in advance to avoid disappointment. Your reservation will be secured by credit card unless you are a hotel guest or redeeming gift vouchers.

Timing

Arriving at least ten minutes early allows you to make the most of your time with us. We do our best to conclude treatments gently at the scheduled time. Afterwards, ensure you have enough time to ground yourself and take full advantage of our relaxation room.

Cancellations

If you are unable to attend your appointment please give us at least 24 hours prior notice to avoid the full charge for unused spa time.

Parking

SkyCity Grand Hotel Valet Parking

Valet parking provides a convenient option for guests of East Day Spa.

Simply pull-up outside the SkyCity Grand Hotel main entrance, 90 Federal Street, and the concierge will park your car for you.

$30.00 flat rate (valid for up to 3 hours)

SkyCity Main Site Parking

For East Day Spa customers SkyCity parking is available at a discounted flat rate.

Simply park in SkyCity Mainsite carpark, pull a ticket as normal on entry and purchase a single exit ticket at spa reception after your treatment.

$17.50 flat rate (valid for same day use)

Health / Special Requests

Help us tailor your treatment by letting us know if you have any special health considerations such as pregnancy. Our highly trained therapists are there to provide the experience that suits your needs.

Phones

Spa blissfully – be sure turn your phone off or set it to silent.

Smoking

As an essential ingredient of holistic therapy, we keep the air in our spa absolutely smoke free.

Alcohol

We encourage you not to undermine the therapeutic value of your treatment by consuming alcohol prior.

Men

Make the most of your facial by shaving at least three hours before your treatment.

Children

Spa time is time out for you. For their health and safety, children under the age of 6yrs are not permitted into treatment rooms. Please arrange alternative care for your children away from the spa while you and the other patrons take time out with us.

Bookings and Cancellations

If you are unable to attend your appointment, please give us at least 24 hours’ notice to avoid the full charge for unused spa time.

For new customers or at the discretion of East Day Spa, we require spa bookings to be secured by your credit card number, expiry date, and CSC code, or an East Day Spa gift certificate number.

Customers must notify the spa of intention to cancel or amending a secured booking by email or phone 24 hours prior to the confirmed treatment start time.

Where cancellation notification is not received 24 hours prior to a treatment start time, and a client has not shown up to the appointment, the full charge for unused spa time will be processed and paid for via credit card or gift certificate provided by the customer at the time of booking.

Where full charge occurs from no show or less than 24 hours cancellation notification for confirmed treatments, no compensation or alternative treatment time is offered.

Possessions & Preparations

Clothing

Let comfort prevail in your choice of attire. We will provide disposable underwear for use during water treatments. Otherwise, feel free to your own underwear for other spa treatments.

Privacy

Your therapist will advise in advance, which items of attire are best removed at certain stages of your treatment. You will be carefully and discretely draped with towels to ensure your complete privacy at all times.

Valuables

Jewellery and other valuables will be left unattended. We recommend keeping them at home to avoid misplacing, losing or leaving them behind. We accept no responsibility for any lost items.

Special Requests

Our spa concierge is there to look after you and assist with your enquiries or special requests – be it assistance with parking, catered lunches, or if you are planning a group function and wish to design a customised spa package.
